I’m Catholic, Jon and couldn’t have said it better, myself. You are exactly right, except for why the Christians aren’t following the Quran. The fundamental difference between Catholics/Christians and Islam, is the Divinity of Jesus, as Being The Son of God. The Protestants have their differences with The Catholic Church, as well, but also recognize The Divinity of Jesus as Being The Son of God.
He must have missed the day at seminary when the lecture was on Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
