When the Pope visited Turkey in 2014, he prayed in Istanbul’s Blue Mosque towards Mecca and stated it would be wrong to equate Islam with violence.
“Fanaticism and fundamentalism, as well as irrational fears which foster misunderstanding and discrimination, need to be countered by the solidarity of all believers,” Pope Francis stated in a speech to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other political leaders.

I am a cradle Catholic and have NEVER heard such jibberish in my life.I guess I have no more Pope because you’re NOT A POPE. Get together ,help one another and we’ll all be one happy family. WE tried it .Germany tried it. for years and all they did was demand,kill and rape and try to force their religion and law on us..You are a hypercrite. You have a huge wall around the Vatican for……NONE OTHER THAN TO KEEP MUSLIMS OUT.I know you’re into the one world order which is one government,one religion . My guess is Islam.Iread up on it it’s for the rich and powerful only. Regular people have to follow everything the goverment says. I was raised in the Pentecostal Church in my younger years, later tried the Methodist and Baptist Churches, I didn’t feel I belonged in any of these Churches. While serving in Viet Nam and being wounded all three times I did find God again and I also found Catholicism. I felt at home there a church where people did not judge you on your dress or your failures. Hate the sin but love the sinner has a real meaning in the Catholic churches I have belonged to pretty much all over this great Republic. I see a way too over the edge reaction to a Pope that most of you reactor’s don’t accept as the head of the Catholic Church and is evident by your posts that you have a problem with Catholicism in general. My suggestion is for you to take a hard look at some of the Mega Churches and some of the “Preachers” that are fronting the Protestant Denomination. This is the last you will see me comment on Catholicism and Mark I am disappointed in you that you keep trying to put a bad light on Catholicism. have said before I am not a theologian and am a sinner that tries to live a life where I hope God will allow me a place n heaven
