I’m sure the Pope does not think he is the Almighty. He is bound by traditions of the Church. I believe when he removed this man he was following his conscience.

It’s very simple. Don’t pay attention to what he says. His actions and words have made him irrelevant. A title alone does not make a man powerful. To be a leader, one must have followers. If nobody follows, he’s done. I’m not Catholic, but this is how I see it.
