Pope Francis has been true to his word when it comes to seeking to learn from other faiths. He is establishing a new path to canonization as a saint, in addition to the “three previously recognized ways to sainthood”.
In a new letter carrying the Latin title of Maiorem hac Dilectionem, Pope Francis explains to his ever-dwindling flock that the Lord has shown him a new revelation as a reward for his open-mindedness and compassion towards the world.
This new inspiration draws heavily on Islamic teachings and being heralded by many of Pope Francis’s supporters as being a true testament to the vision they have for the church, and the love of God.

If he actually puts that into practice, the list of saints is going to be very long. You would have to consider all the people in history that died in wars, and all the police men and women everywhere in the world. Wow.

Justin Martyr had this reason why the 2nd century worshipped Christ on Sunday. It was among other things because God started creation on day 1.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says in the Interlinear Greek-English New Testament (translated from the Greek before it was changed to modern understandable English).
“So that if anyone [be] in Christ [there is a new creation: the old things passed away; lo, have become new all things:”
When we come to Christ, ask forgiveness and believe in our hearts what the Bible says about Jesus, we become a new creation. God starts that new creation on day one and as long as we stay in Christ, the creation process continues until we enter fully into the eternal rest when we die.
There is no way God would tell him that!! There is one and only one path to being a saint, as Christians are noted in the Bible, and that is a profession of faith in Jesus Christ!! And God tells us in His Word to pray to no one other than Him!!
