The Third Amendment was created to protect your home from being quartered by soldiers without your consent. It has very rarely been a matter of debate or litigation, until now.
Federal district court Judge Andrew Gordon ruled that the police are exempt from the 3rd Amendment with a case out of Henderson, Nevada after a family had their home broken into and seized by local law enforcement who stated they needed the home to gain a “tactical advantage” against suspected criminals in a neighboring house.
Police actually forced their way into this family’s home, pepper-balled the father and his dog and then incarcerated the man for a day.

i don’t recognize the juridical system any more. they are bought and payed for. the supreme court is a laughing stock. a bunch of senile old men and women. all bought by one side or the other. time for change is right. change back to what we once were. a great nation.
try it in Texas you’ll find out the hard way you can’t…. The Cons$#%&!@*ution does NOT allow it! you do NOT have to give quarter to any federal employees just because you are asked!!
Wouldn’t that go a bit against the third amendment to the Cons$#%&!@*ution?
More fear mongering from truth and action. A site that does not deserve the American Eagle or the flag as an avatar.
It is disturbing how frequently the site lies to you. It’s even more concerning how many of you choose to believe this nonsense.
And you idiots saying that Obama is the one that doesn’t understand the Cons$#%&!@*ution are just showing your ignorance.
George W Bush invaded Iraq because God told him to. You guys keep attacking a cons$#%&!@*utional law professor as if he doesn’t know the law. Yet you seem to give a p$#%&!@* to some of the greatest political criminals in our history. Wow!
SOAB comes in my house like that there will be a m$#%&!@*cier
No, the Cons$#%&!@*ution specifically forbids this. This judge is an idiot. On the other hand, eminent domain is allowed, so we’re screwed.
That’s against the law even for that federal judge thinking he’s above the law..
