The gun grabbers are at it again, each time with a new twist on why government should seize guns from citizens who have committed no crime and threatened no one. This is the third major violation of the Second Amendment to come out this week.
One of the most lawless states with the most draconian laws is California, with the law books overflowing with rules and regulations that serve only to limit the rights of innocent citizens.
Somehow, the liberal judges and legislators never seem to get the message that criminals and evil-doers are not interested in these laws and will refuse to obey them. That includes legal purchases and mandated background checks, ignored by the bad guys, which means the regulations will only punish those who obey the law.
In this case, January 1st, 2016 marks the day that gun owners in California can have their guns seized by authorities with no prior notice, and no crime committed.
The law permits a person’s weapons to be seized for twenty-one days if a judge can be convinced that there is a potential for violence, as determined by family members of the gun owner. The key is to convince a judge that the person possessing a firearm “poses an immediate and present danger of causing personal injury to himself, herself or another by having a gun in his or her custody or control.”

I see many firefights in the near future for law enforcement if they enforce what they KNOW IS ILLEGAL AND AGAINST THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND IT’S CONSTITUTION. They took an oath to defend it from all enemies, foreign or domestic. I personally just don’t see them enforcing this illegal gibberish.
if that is the case it will only serve to just splinter the federal government from all of the States even more than Obama already has. He thinks he can just ram this down everyone’s throats. I think he’s mistaken, as he has been before ALREADY.
We as citizens of the USA may vote with our feet, so to speak.. We are able to live in any state that we choose; move, perhaps?

Then police merely do not need to enforce it do they? If true the they should NOT move to confiscate contrary to the law. Simple as that.
David Gardiner ~~ David, I understand what you are saying, but feel you do not understand the resolve of millions of Americans that will not tolerate certain actions by our government. Any attempt on their part that is clearly threatening the American way of life, as well as our Freedom, will cause a backlash that the communist left, and to those that believe socialism is the answer will be in for a major surprise. I for one will not hesitate to take what ever actions I have to too protect the freedoms promised me in the “Bill of Rights”, as well as the US Constitution. An awful lot of blood has already been spilt defending both documents and protecting our way of life. True Americans do not see color and judge all men by the content of their character. If we have to take on the race baiters, the ones attempting to take away my rights as well as yours, will be met with a lot more than they think. I’m not afraid of dying, I have been dying since I was born and I know I have great rewards awaiting me in Heaven. No One will ever take away the freedoms from my family. I have Grandchildren and an obligation to do what ever it takes to offer them a safe life to grow up in and provide them with at least as good a life as I have been fortunate to have… No One will ever harm one of them, in any way, and live to tell about it!
I deplore this administration and Congress etc. Actually all of them.
