The DOD is funding studies in various universities to research the “dynamics, risks and tipping points for large-scale civil unrests”.
The ‘Minerva Research Initiative’, was started the year of the banking crisis, 2008.
One study at Cornell University, managed by the Air Force, aims to discover the tipping points of civil unrest as they relate to social media. Twitter posts, for example, are examined “to identify individuals mobilized in a social contagion and when they become mobilized.”

Why is this news? These kinds of studies have been going on in the Pentagon for decades! When I worked in the Pentagon I knew of at least 7 studies on how to suppress those demonstrating against the war in Viet Nam. There are groups dedicated to “Plans and Contingencies” that dream up all kinds of scenarios, then make plans for them. The government has plans for total martial law, military invasion of Mexico and other ally countries, meteor strikes, alien invasion, you name it and there is probably a plan for it in the archives.
They are not preparing for it. THEY are creating it!
