No doubt expecting resistance to the unilateral order the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives aimed to put the ban of 5.56mm ‘green tip’ ammo on a fast-track. News of the ban drove a massive increase in demand for the ammunition, up to 1,000% of what it was prior to the Executive Order. Prices jumped in reaction, by up to 30% in response to the sudden demand and dwindling stocks.

Stop this c**p…. there is no executive order to ban ammo. This story is from March and was never about an executive order… The BATF TRIED to get this rammed through, no doubt spurred on by the administration, but was forced to back off indefinitely. Stories like this only make us look bad and fuel our critics…..
