Even as Pope Francis flew back to Rome, President Obama immediately issued a stern warning to Christians, threatening them that their attempts to assert their religious liberty to oppose gay rights will fail.
“We affirm that we cherish our religious freedom and are profoundly respectful of religious traditions,” he falsely insisted during a dramatic speech at a LGTB fundraiser in New York City on Sunday night. He glowingly praising the progress made on gay rights under his administration. “But we also have to say clearly that our religious freedom doesn’t grant us the freedom to deny our fellow Americans their constitutional rights.”
More about how your faith must be destroyed to enhance the gay experience is on the next page:
um… Gay Rights IS religious freedom.
what i dont get if he hates this country soo much, is after his presidency does he plan to stay in america the rest of his life ?
Never seen an American President promoting gay rights like Obama. He should simply come clean and tell the world he’s gay then we will know where he’s coming from. Obama in his wisdom cannot equate gay rights and Religious Freedom. They are completely different. Mr Obama should stop causing confusion in the world he’s not the first American President neither will he be the last.
You moron. You don’t understand the constitution. It is designed to protect the minority from the whims of the majority. Which means you don’t have the right to vote on other people’s rights.
As far as “I an do business with whoever I choose blah blah blah”. No. You can’t. You cannot deny service based on class. Not race. Not religion. Not sexual orientation.
The fourteenth amendment guarantees homosexuals the right to marry you fool. Religious rights DO NOT include imposing your belief in fairy tales on others.
Scotus can strike down unconstitutional laws.
I see you didn’t bother to research you just figured you’d go to rush Limbaugh school of idiocy.
That doesn’t say that religious freedom should be imposed on others, quite the opposite actually.
No Jose, I said it’s OK to ridicule people who try to impose their faith on you. Especially if that faith has no evidence.
Hey Carol, welcome to my fan club. Will you be gracing us with an original thought based in reality? Or will you continue with your ignorance?
Yes Kris, we’re the stupid ones as you deny the POTUS declared faith because you don’t like him. . .
Warren, the church still the word marriage. In history, and in this country, there have been gay marriages.
They didn’t change anything.
