Even as Pope Francis flew back to Rome, President Obama immediately issued a stern warning to Christians, threatening them that their attempts to assert their religious liberty to oppose gay rights will fail.
“We affirm that we cherish our religious freedom and are profoundly respectful of religious traditions,” he falsely insisted during a dramatic speech at a LGTB fundraiser in New York City on Sunday night. He glowingly praising the progress made on gay rights under his administration. “But we also have to say clearly that our religious freedom doesn’t grant us the freedom to deny our fellow Americans their constitutional rights.”

I apologize! I now realize that you were ‘fighting fire with fire’s, ie, countering memes with memes. Perhaps, in this case, it would be effective! I certainly hope so! I really get weary of illogical non-thinkers that simply repeat foolish remarks as if they were parrots. I believe you may understand. This should explain it.
I read this and he does not say gay rights are more important. He just says religious rights cannot be used to deny the rights of others. He doesn’t raise gay rights to some more supreme rights. I am gay and as I read this all I hear is all rights must be protected, Should Jews be given less rights than Christians–no. Same basic idea. Barry McLain
Intrinsic disordered people have crossed into perversion
Obama is certainly a man of many faces, racist. gay, Muslim. What more could the people that voted for him want.
Like always another statement made by the idiot.
Gays have the right once they are consenting adults to do what they want between each other in private. But in no way do they have to right to force any unwillful institution to recognize their ACTIONS! If a religious individual, organization, or industry doesn’t want to take part in something directly related to any type of action, they are fully in their right not too.
Pssssst Carol –
Gay Americans pay taxes too… Your argument is mute and one sided, you have the right to not invite gay people to get married in your house and not serve them wedding cake – other than that you have zero right to judge nor withhold another’s freedom to find happiness – no matter what your book tells you…
Where is John Wilkes Booth when you nedd him!
Of course when you are on a roll to destroy America, anything goes, and one thing his actions against this country has shown, we are pretty screwed up society. And the rest of the world now knows it. I’ll take my chances with God to get us through it .
Are you crazy or what.
