Obama: Rewriting history

For months – years, actually, Barack Obama has promised publicly that “if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan, period.”  We included a handy video montage, in case you somehow missed one of his 29 recorded statements to this effect. Just click HERE for a refresher.

But that’s not what he really said, Obama announced Monday in a speech to about 200 Organizing for Action supporters, gathered at the St. Regis hotel in D.C. “What we said was you could keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law was passed,” he told Obamacare’s political beneficiaries and contractors.

Will the 3.5 million Americans who have so far received notices cancelling their insurance plans fall for this?

Despite Obama’s new claims to his supporters, his “if it hasn’t changed” exception is not recorded in even one of his many videotaped “you can keep it” promises to Americans.

This highlights just one falsehood the president has consistently spouted about his Affordable Care Act and it should act as a warning for those who think ObamaCare can be ‘fixed’. The system is founded upon lies and deceit and it was sold to Americans as a healthcare system rather than what it is: a socialist tool to control a once free nation.
