Obama has granted $50 million to a charitable group to renovate the Palm Aire resort and hotel in Weslaco, Texas to house illegal minors.
The facility will have two outdoor swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, racquetball courts, outdoor tennis courts, and a fitness center. When is the last time you stayed in such a nice resort?
The facility will only house 600 minors at one time, yet they are pouring into this country by the tens of thousands.
Obviously, this facility will provide very little overall relief to our governmental systems or these minors. Seeing how Obama created this crisis and wants to continue to pull illegals into the country, this resort will probably be used as some sort of propaganda to entice even more people in Central America to come here.
“Come to America and you will receive luxury accommodations courtesy of Obama and the Democrats…who you should vote for in all coming elections.”
The Palm Aire Hotel and Suites is set to be sold to Baptist Child & Family Services (BCFS) operating under a federal contract, pending local government approval, according to reports from Weslaco, Texas where the hotel is located. Weslaco is a few miles north of the Rio Grande in Hidalgo County.
The resort hotel for illegal alien children is reportedly the ‘first in the nation’.
The Palm Aire includes tennis courts, a laundromat and a snack bar.The plan is to have the hotel ready for illegal alien children ages 12 to 17 by October 1st of this year, a mere two-and-half months from now. It is expected the average stay will be about fifteen days.
The Palm Aire Hotel and Suites currently advertises amenities such as two outdoor swimming pools—one Olympic sized—Jacuzzis, sauna, steam room, two racquetball courts, outdoor tennis courts, picnic area with grills and a fitness center with twenty machines and free weights.
A luxurious fitness center is on site at the Weslaco Palm Aire Hotel and Suites. Guests can also wind down in the sauna after a long trip.Attracted to the space for outdoor recreation at the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites, BCFS spoke of building a soccer field at the hotel and adding a perimeter fence.
BCFS plans to employ 650 people at the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites, which would mean slightly over one worker per illegal alien child. According to the BCSF Website, the charity’s jobs pay from $10 to $45 per hour.
KRGV-TV quoted a BCFS spokeswoman about the purpose of buying the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites:
“It’s going to be an intake facility, which serves as a lot like a hospital emergency room,” Krista Piferrer, BCFS VP External Affairs said.
“”We’ve all seen the photos and the videos of children in crowded Border Patrol facilities. What this site is going to allow to happen is quickly move those children out of Border Patrol cells and triage them,” Piferrer said.”
BCFS plans for the facility to be “completely self-contained” with Piferrer telling KRGV-TV, ‘medical staff will be on hand so children with diseases or injuries will not be transferred to local hospitals.’

why can’t we AMERICANS have a vote in this, IT IS OUR MONEY… WE ALL ARE ALREADY HURTING FINANCIALLY WITH OUR OWN LIVES & PAYING FOR THE FREELOADERS IN OUR COUNTRY & NOW WE HAVE TO SUPPORT ILLEGALS…I was at a store today which accepts donations for soldiers children, the cashier ask the family in front of me if they would like to donate, of course didn’t understand what cashier said so someone else repeated what the cashier said in spanish, then she customer said no thanks…I thought well of course you don’t want to donate $1.00 to soldiers to help their kids with school supplies but you don’t mind spending our money…The Star Spangled Banner has a whole new meaning of “Land of the Free”…it wasn’t meant to be taken literally as land of the free but thanks to obummer it has become the land of the free & putting out a welcome mat to all the illegals that want to come over & live the AMERICAN DREAM off our money that they put NOTHING into our system…

These operations by the United States Joint Task Force 160 (September 8, 1994 – March 15, 1995) to relieve the overcrowded migrant camps at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base.
Safe Haven established four camps on Empire Range, Panama to provide a safe haven for up to ten thousand Cuban migrants. Safe Passage then returned the migrants to Guantanamo after the crowded conditions could be alleviated. Camps were established in Panama as a result of an agreement between the US and Panamanian governments that permitted the Cubans to remain in Panama for six months. Cuban migrants continued to arrive until the camps reached their peak occupancy of 8,600. Of these 8,600, approximately 1,280 Cubans entered the United States in mid-October 1994 as a result of a program of parole entry by the US Department of Justice. In addition, 110 Cubans were accepted by Spain, and 10 by Venezuela.
Due in part to uncertainly about their future, some of the Cuban migrants became increasingly restless as the weeks went by. The growing tension led to disturbances and riots on December 7–8, 1994, which were quickly controlled by US military members. During the riots, more than 200 US military personnel and 30 Cubans were injured and two Cuban migrants drowned in the Panama Canal while attempting to flee from the camps. There was also considerable property damage, including the destruction of various military vehicles, computers, and telephones.
As the expiration of the US-Panamanian agreement permitting the Cubans to stay in Panama approached, planning began for Operation Safe Passage—the return of the Cubans to Guantanamo Bay Naval Facility. Between February 1, 1995, and February 20, 1995, several hundred Cubans were transported from Panama to Guantanamo Naval Base. The mission of the transfer operation was to move the Cuban migrants from Safe Haven camps in Panama to Guantanamo in a safe, orderly manner.
