Barack Obama has once again circumvented America’s legislative process to push his administration’s unpopular leftist agenda. This time he’s pushing his anti-gun politics, just as he has with illegal immigration policy and the transgender bathrooms issue.
The White House announced new policies earlier this year for those receiving social security benefits in conjunction with President Obama’s January 5th executive order on gun ownership. Few seemed to notice, when it was revealed, that the order granted the administration power to withhold Second Amendment rights from those who collect social security!
The move makes little logical sense, unless you’re a Socialist keen on pushing the United States toward totalitarian rule. Beneficiaries of Social Security have never proven themselves to be particularly violent or incapable of gun ownership. It really seems this is part of Obama’s overall scheme to slowly and surreptitiously limit gun ownership whenever and wherever possible.
No doubt the administration hopes this slow creep of new regulations will go undetected until it is too late to be repealed. But the watchful eyes of conservative media caught them in the act.

For the love of Pete! This was about rules that prevent, or try to prevent, mentally ill or intellectually deficient people from buying guns. Which was already on the law books, this was just to help create records easily checked. As a retired mental health professional, I assure you this makes sense to me. We had patients I barely trusted with a fork, much less an arsenal.

Just for the hell of it, I went to The Federal Register, a site that lists all Executive Orders from every president in my lifetime. Not only is there no such thing as an executive order restricting gun purchases in any way, there was no executive order issued by Obama on the date January 5 of any year of his presidency. If you folks could just produce some evidence that this order even exists, much less says anything as stupid as you say it does, that’d be great. Otherwise, I have to assume you’re completely full of$#%&!@* Hell, you don’t have to even post the whole thing. Just tell me what the executive order number was. They’re all given consecutive numbers as they’re issued, you know. Thanks in advance from a concerned patriot.
Heck, I went one step further, as you should have before posting this tripe. Here’s the actual official White House statement on executive ACTIONS (in other words, things he wants to do), which are in no way the same thing as an official executive order, about making guns less attainable without a background check. I’m inviting you to read the whole thing, as I have, and then point out which part of this shows even the slightest effort to restrict gun sales to SS beneficiaries, much less tries to take away their rights, as you claim in your gigantic lie of an article.
