It’s no secret that the left isn’t exactly a fan of Donald Trump. You can’t even open up a search page on the Internet these days, without running into some sort of hate article about the man and his opinions that probably hold more truth than anything Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton has ever said. And what these relentless attacks on the man prove is that the left fears him, and they should.
In recent comments regarding Trump, President Obama brought up the birth certificate issue. He also claimed that he has “not contributed” to the dividing of our country. Well that’s strange. If you’ll look back at the social climate before he took office, you might remember that police officers weren’t so widely hated, Black Lives Matter didn’t exist and every other story to hit the news wasn’t about racism.
The president then went on to blame Republicans for everything that’s gone wrong during his two terms in office.

I truly don’t like Obama and feel he tried to dictate what he thought was best for the country rather than what the people felt is best. In his own warped way he was trying to show “support” for minorities in this country. While his actions were misguided and succeeded in pushing people further apart, I don’t believe that was his true intent. The unforeseen consequence of his actions was creating the most polarized American society in my lifetime, perhaps ever. Sadly, in much the same way, a small group of people feel emboldened to mistreat others as a result of Trump being elected, there was a group of people that did the same when Obama was elected. Even more terrible is the fact that our biased news and social media give these small groups of people a very large voice, which ultimately makes the larger population believe this is the way everyone feels and thinks. The past is the past and all I can hope for is that our future can bring people together for the good of our country and future generations of Americans.
If we don’t stand together we will all hang separately.
