At press conference that took place on Tuesday, President Obama made his intentions for America painfully obvious. He referred to the Constitution as a “work in progress” that can “evolve for the good of all Americans”.
He made the claim that he was only trying to inspire. That actually explains a lot. According to our president, his job is “evolve” our Constitution to meet his needs. There’s no need for rule of law when you can turn it into some piece of paper that makes people feel good.
And there is his socialist manifesto. If that was truly what was intended for the constitution, then why did Thomas Jefferson say this in 1803? “Our peculiar security is in the possession of a written Constitution. Let us not make it a blank paper by construction.”
Doesn’t this seem like it’s exactly what President Obama is trying to do? He’s trying to make our Constitution nothing more than a blank piece of paper that he’s free to write on what he will.
Never has any American president shown such disregard for America’s most precious document.

See you are already trying to twist my words around. I told you my main argument was with executive orders. also the first ten amendments that you’re talking about are the Bill of Rights and no I’m not talking about those considering those were added at the same time
Somehow he has gotten the impression he is King. Presidents serve, Kings rule…sound familiar?
David Brooks Actually, I’m trying to amplify your words not twist them. You said the Constitution is a done deal and I pointed out to you that it has been changed 27 times. You then said it should not have been changed. And then I asked you specifically a change in the Constitution and then you changed the subject and accused me of twisting your words. And NO, the Bill of Rights was NOT added at the same time the Constitution was ratified. But OK — I’ll forget about the first 10 changes to Constitution and ask you about the 14th. Do you oppose that change to the Constitution? — the change giving citizenship rights to the freed slaves.
Paul Gresh I disagree. There have been MAJOR changes to the Constitution over the years. These include the entire Bill of Rights, changes to the manner in which the President and Vice-President are elected, changes to how US Senators are elected, changes to Judicial jurisdiction, HUGE changes to who is entitled to vote, changes to the presidential term of office and term limits for President. There are hardly only “refinements.”

Which he never really used.
Mark Levin is a constitutional lawyer with a doctorate, served in politics since he was 18, and was the chief of staff for one of the most influential presidents of the twentieth century.
And he regularly points out what a hack Barry Obama is.
What’s your point?
Calling man a Muslim when he is not is just the way the right deals with issues no facts.Hate of another human being is. My folks were black and were denied right to vote unamerican for sure so this whinning bout Obama now I find amusing
Amazing how few seem to have actually read the constitution and understand it can change via amendments. How few defend the presidents elected by the people and the constitutional electorate. Amazing really how sedition, insurrection and out right treason is spoke by those with forked tongues!
For being a so called constitutional scholar this revolutionary organizer seeks to destroy the very foundation of the rule of law. The Constitution was a document which serves as a barrier to Government abuses. Of course, Obama wants nothing to deter his radicalization of the waybthe Government imposes its will on the people. All one has to do is obseve the workings of the EPA. IRS and other agencies which directly impqct the citizens. Hopefully the next President will trashcan the efforts of the current administration to trashbthe Constitution.
Constitution is done. Obama just tries to subvert and pervert it.
