paper, “Islamophobia: A Challenge for Us All,” details eight (8) distinctions of “closed
and opened views of Islam.”8 Islamophobia was defined by the Trust as “an outlook
or world-view involving an unfounded dread and dislike of Muslims, which results
in practices of exclusion and discrimination.”
Islamists wielding the term “Islamophobia” for political and other purposes
