This past Monday, Oregonians travelled from across the state and political spectrum for hearings on three Senate bills designed to further gun control initiatives.
Senate sponsors testified in support of the legislation, except for two of the proposed bills, for which no sponsors were identified.
Governor Kate Brown spoke in favor of two of the measures, noting they would reduce domestic violence, prevent suicides, and avoid public shootings by those with mental issues.
A lobbyist for the National Rifle Association (NRA) was on hand as well. Find out how she testified regarding the constitutionality of the proposed legislation on the next page.
Legalize marijuana and this is what you get, too many hippies.
Get rid of that$#%&!@*bag governor
They’re going for little or nothing in Chicago !
Gun control laws dont prevent violence. It causes it. Armed thugs killing innocent people who cant fight back. Oregon needs to vote these idiots out since they lost the ability to think at all.
liberals run a muck
What part of “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED” is so hard these idiots to understand?
If passed, This means if you are an outspoken politically incorrect individual anyone can call out the dogs on you for no reason
ALL current state and Federal gun laws are NULL and VOID due to their conflict with the Second Amendment GUARANTEE of the RIGHT to Keep and Bear Arms WITHOUT INFRINGEMENT!!!
Idiots! If someone wants a gun to do damage they will find one illegally!!
Gun laws have nothing to do with stopping crime,it’s all about control.
