Terms like an “electromagnetic pulse” often leave people scratching their heads, or perhaps they just tune out because they don’t know what an EMP is, how it would happen, and what the impact would be. This is definitely the case of the importance of preventing a disaster being far more important than dealing with the aftermath, because mitigating the effects of one would be almost impossible.
An EMP attack of sufficient power results in the destruction of the power-grid, of that system of moving electricity for the sources of its generation to homes and offices. Were one to occur, the electricity would go out for one year or more. And that’s the scary part.

B******T!
I’m sure our President and military are aware of what N Korea can and can’t do. Stop flipping out. If your that scared and stressed….. stop watching news. Lol

This is what frightens me the most. It would be the end of the world as we know it. No country on earth could provide us w/ enough supplies to sustain us. We would all just simply starve to death.
That can’t reach us….lol
I am in a closed Trump group and we use that language about liberal CA and NY, completely unaware as we comment that there are Trumpers in each of these states. We get reminded occasionally, but then Brown or Cuomo will sign another bill to the detriment of the state and off we go. But after reading these comments from the four of you, I am going to post tomorrow a reminder of my own to be more sensitive to the issue. Mea culpa. B
Ridiculous
The fallout will land on you with the east to west jet stream winds and a strike on any state in the US would send the economy down the toilet why would anyone want that ? Unreal !
