The state Department of Public Safety has granted a school bus driver’s license to a Minnesota man who is on the Homeland Security “no-fly” list.
The department said it has no legal reason to deny a license to Amir Meshal, who already has a Minnesota commercial truck driver’s license.
But some lawmakers say the state law regulating school bus and commercial truck drivers should be changed.
So, what crime had this fellow done that placed him on the No-fly list? The man, Amir Meshal, is under scrutiny from federal authorities for activities helping to recruit young people for terror groups.

Good grief, does anyone do their jobs anymore? How did he find his way to this level of occupation? The schools don’t do backgroud checks any longer? let me guess budget cuts or mindless employees or both?
Typical gov ‘t doings….swallow a camel and strain a nat !!!
Well the thing is, the school does not tell the parents who the drivers are of the school buses. The safest thing to do in this day and age is to either send kids to private schools or home school.
This is headed to big trouble !!!!
Really, it would only be a matter 9f time. If you leave him there, you will be responsible for anything that happens. As for me, my kid would immediately come 9ff of that bus
