The famed P.G.T. Beauregard monument in New Orleans City Park was secretly removed in the dead of night by city officials. This marks the third time the city has removed a Civil War-era monument in the last 8 weeks.
New Orleans Mayor, Mitch Landrieu states these actions are non-negotiable in order to “stand up to hate” and symbolizes refusing to tolerate “white supremacy.”

More like increase both
This man is an idiot and is making decisions on his own believes. He must feel like a white supremacist and wants to remove the reminders of his own guilt instead of facing his own feelings.
“History repeats itself”, a quote that is True! This ignorant mayor is setting a precedent of more ignorance in the future. It’s happening now with the mentally unstable college graduates that know nothing about Civics & American History.
What a moron! He should be recalled and prosecuted
What an idiot. If you don’t remember history, you are bound to repeat it.
If u erase history…can’t learn from mistakes
The only hate is coming from the left…the democrats!!!
I’ll be glad when this POS mayor is history .
Well said Sabine Baeckmann
Another fool in a leadership position.
