Any responsible American understands how a budget works. You can’t spend more than you take in. If you do, you have to spend less, or you’ll lose everything in the long run.
Somehow, the people we send to Washington D.C. — supposedly with superior intellects and our best interest in mind — haven’t learned that lesson. Every year we elect people who promise to balance our budget and release us from the constant threat of increasing debts, and nearly every year those very people go to Washington and spend more money, and put us deeper into debt.
All but one, it seems. One Republican legislator is finally trying to create real consequences for members of congress should they fail to balance the budget, and for once they, not the American people, will be the ones hurting should they fail.

This bill has been up before and the truth is to really balance and keep us that way would mean the drastic changes in spending, which seems what they do best. Right now the current admin has added so many special new programs, more Czars to run them, if Congress should by a miracle get this passed, O will sign another executive order and stop it, we have only 6 months to stop the socialist agenda

It about time. If legislation doesn’t pass a budget they should not receive any monies from anywhere except their own savings account and if caught getting other funds then they should loose their retirement and their jobs.
It won’t ever pass. Their pet programs will have to be cut.
They probably won’t do a bit of good. They are making so much money other than their taxpayer funded salaries, their salary is chump change to them.
