Greg Baker actually you are 100% wrong the towers were built with a steel exterior framework around a central core of structural steel columns and concrete blocks. When the jets hit they took out part of the central core. The ensuing fire weakened the steel floor trusses as those trusses heated they began to sag. When they sagged to a certain point they began to pull the framework inward when that happened it could no longer hold the weight of the building above and it collapsed straight downward exactly as they were designed to do. All skyscrapers are designed and built to collapse into their own footprint in case of a catastrophic structural failure.
