Yes Jet fuel burns at 800 to 1500 F, steel melts 2,750 F. What you haven’t captured is steel loses 50% of its strength at 1,100F as per Senior Engineer Farid Alfawak-hiri of the American Institute of Steel Construction. And at 1,800 it is probably at less 10%. NIST also believes that a great deal of the spray-on fireproofing insulation was likely knocked off the steel beams that were in the path of the crashing jets, leaving the metal more vulnerable to the heat. The source that proves the pancake theory is Wikipedia states towers designed “tube in tube” going into one another some Architects refer to as pancake and a whole lot of details feel free to read and the NIST mathematics shown pancake collapse as plausible.
