Kevin D. Williamson writes for National Review, the high brow magazine created by William F. Buckley, which fancies itself the “true” arbiter of everything conservative. Williamson is known for tossing literary bombs from time to time, such as the article he wrote suggesting that women who have abortions should be hung. I think most people would suggest that position is outrageously extreme, even if they are adamantly pro-life, and it certainly suggests that Williamson lacks compassion and judgment.
The National Review had a melt-down when Donald Trump became president since he does not fit their profile of a true, committed conservative. Each week they come up with a batch of new articles arrogantly decreeing the Trump is horrible, awful, and just not fit to be president of the United States. Now Williamson has gone one better and written an article that suggests Trump’s supporters, are worthless, disgusting, useless trash, failures in every sense of the word. It is unlikely that his screed will win over the folks he is writing about, and it may shock him that virtually anyone who reads the article will be highly offended. But perhaps that is his purpose.

Why do all the pro Trump writers need to say Trump has huge issues that make him an imperfect candidate.
I can’t see what those issues can be. If you look at his life, while he’s not a Bible thumper who can quote line and verse, it’s clear that he has the teachings of the Parables in his heart.
The Parable of the Sower, to persevere against all adversity, from nay Sayers to the envvyous and jealous to the calamities and tragedies yielding some small crops, some medium, some great.
The Parable of the Talents, to use whatever talent and opportunity you have to achieve excellence and inspire others to do the same
The Parable of the Good Samaritan. To help others in need without fanfare.

To love one another is clearly how he has lived his life for his family, friends, strangers and adversaries

Trump literally lives the words of Christ. He’s taken them as true and how one should lead one’s life and without Christian bravado and look at me beating my chest as a Bible bragger.
Christ: “Go first to God, and all things will be added unto you.” Its obvious thatball things have been added to Trump who has taken the living of the teachings to heart versus even talking about them.
When you look at his policies, they are pure Calvinist entrepreneurial capitalism, to return to every person working the most possible with the very wealthy personally taking the biggest burden, and eliminating the hidden pass through taxes like corporate taxes and others.
Trump may as well have been cut from the same Christian entrepreneurial free enterprise without govt patronage as the Founders. He gets the purpose of the Constitution right to its core. He’s lived it and now he wants all citizens to have access to what the founders intended.
Re NR. Wm Buckley was the same type of live by Christ’s words versus a Bible braggart. He would have been entirely for Trump.
After he passed, the Trust that owns NR was funded and coopted by the Bush family oligarchy to have NR redefine in the American consciousness NWO Corporatism as the new Conservitism, thereby proclaiming evil as good by associating Corporatism as what the founders intended.
