Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”
UPDATE: California Gov. Jerry Brown issues ineffectual, mandatory water restriction as one-third of our nation’s crops are threatened. See Page 3 for updates.

Sorry brother..but your not building any aqueduct from my state into that godless $#%&!@*hole called California…California overpopulated, let them deal with it
Rain
The best thing for California is let it dry up and die… its a useless burden of a state. They might as well rip a star off the flag and let mexco have it.
I wish they would show the pictures of 2015.
Right!
That was in the article wasn’t it? They are building a plant to do that. Or did I not read that right?
And how long has California needed water?
YA keep electing those GODLESS Democrats!!
That’s what years of stupid liberal policies will get ya.
It’s hard to believe that when you stuff 50 million people into an area prone to drought, that you might have water issues.
