Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”

As someone who lives in California. It’s funny how idiotic those of you who don’t live here sound. All of California does not support gay marriage, in fact, the PEOPLE of California voted it down and our Democrat overlords went against the wishes of the m$#%&!@*es. We have more than a year of water left, in fact, that NASA scientists confirmed that this was not what he meant..but don’t worry about looking into it. Our biggest issue is that we continue to push agriculture in a desert state. 80% of our water supply go to farms that are 2% of our economy. Just calm down folks..if you don’t live here, you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. You sound like people from other countries who think ALL Americans support Obama, our wars, etc as if we ACTUALLY HAVE control…
They could be building desalination plants instead of a train that is behind schedule, over priced and will not live up to any of the promise made about it. It will simply serve as a monument to the fool Brown.

So all there rain water just runs into the ocean and the environmentalist are wanting to save some type of Fish. And there distribution of water mostly goes to agriculture just crazy
