There’s a very contradicting and hypocritical attitude when it comes to Islam. Never in history has such a vast collection of governments and corporations bowed to things that offend people who practice a religion. Why? Because nobody cares. All of these demands being made by Muslims and the organizations who amplify their voices are, for lack of a better word, stupid.
In 2015, Subway removed ham and bacon from 185 stores across the United Kingdom. Can you believe that? A sandwich store that doesn’t have ham. That’s the key ingredient for any good sandwich. That’s like selling a car without a steering wheel. Sure it still looks good on the outside, but you can’t exactly do anything with it.

A lot of people do not eat pork products besides Muslims–Jews, Seventh-Day Adventists, vegetarians, some people wanting to eat a a lower fat diet. However, these people usually do not try to change what other people can eat. Everyone should be able to eat what they want without demanding the sandwich shops, restaurants, and stores stop serving what they do not eat. There is no need to remove pork from Subways to accommodate Muslims. Subway makes a lot of non-pork sandwiches.

Once again with the “Subway bows to Islam” b******t that is more likely a reaction to local market trends- if so many customers dont buy ham that you end up throwing it out, you are going to stop carrying it.
I dont know about the whole “dog” thing except thatbthe article CLEARLY states thatbthis is Malaysia, not the US., and there is a HUGH population of muslims there. If it were hebrews demanding kosher, would as many people be saying, “hey, jewboy, go back to Israel?”
