The Miss America pageant has become a source of political controversy yet again.
With all the hubbub over Muslims right now, liberals such as Michael Moore are rallying to their defense, with the filmmaker picketing outside Trump Tower with a sign that reads “We Are All Muslims.” Not everybody, however, is buying Moore’s argument.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Miss Puerto Rico herself, Destiny Velez, had a heated exchange with Moore over Twitter, saying that the God of Muslims was not the same as the God of Jews and Christians and that there was “no comparison” between Islam and the latter religions.
As you might have expected, a lot of people were angered by Velez’s comments, leading to the Miss Puerto Rico Organization suspending her for “actions and behavior contrary to the Miss Puerto Rico Organization.”

Her Right to Free Speech was violated. Sue the Pageant for everything
They need to fight the fight!!!
This is hussein obama & his wife folks ……. She was banned indefinitely for showing support for Christians & Jews & not muslims like the obamas. They are destroying our America !!!!!!
And the attack on freedom is in full swing. Stand strong
FU** Islam!!!! Suspend me!!!!!
What happened to free speech? The truth hurts. People can beat the Christian faith to death, but keep their mouths shut when it comes to islam. How come?
Wrong! They are not the same god… The Bible speaks of the anti-Christ, which is islam…
You have to believe that JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD! Muslims believe that he was only a prophet… which makes them anti-Christ…
stupid pageant.
I’d say their integrity needs to be questioned because she only wrote the truth.
