The Miss America pageant has become a source of political controversy yet again.
With all the hubbub over Muslims right now, liberals such as Michael Moore are rallying to their defense, with the filmmaker picketing outside Trump Tower with a sign that reads “We Are All Muslims.” Not everybody, however, is buying Moore’s argument.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Miss Puerto Rico herself, Destiny Velez, had a heated exchange with Moore over Twitter, saying that the God of Muslims was not the same as the God of Jews and Christians and that there was “no comparison” between Islam and the latter religions.
As you might have expected, a lot of people were angered by Velez’s comments, leading to the Miss Puerto Rico Organization suspending her for “actions and behavior contrary to the Miss Puerto Rico Organization.”

Liberals hate the truth
She’s right
God Bless her for not caving to political correctness and the international islamic agenda.
Good for you Miss Puerto Rico! You only told the truth…..If they can’t handle it. too bad!
Evidently FREE SPEECH isn’t free for everybody.
She should be allowed an opinion, whatever it is.
they need to get off that, freedom of speech is no longer, it has been ruined, she only spoke the truth, plus islam is not a religion, muhammed dreamed it up to have what he called a religion to allow him and others like him to do anything they want and say they were following their religion, it is a farce]
No invite to the White House !!
Not only a beautiful young woman, but a refreshing person of good character, intelligence, and brave enough to stand up and speak out against Islam. I support her 110%.
beauty and brains.
