Micheal Moore’s latest asinine tweet demonstrates exactly how base and hateful he and his Left-loving kind are. He seems to forget that his hero, President Barack Hussein Obama, has extended the U.S. military mission in Afghanistan until 2017. He evidently has forgotten that the reason our heroic men and women in uniform are in Afghanistan is because of 9/11 and those who serve deserve heartfelt love and recognition.
Yet Moore, in his tasteless and callous manner, has insulted those who fight to preserve his right to tweet 140 characters.

If you mean people that don’t like the military I have to say that would mostly be the Left. I was actually raised a Democrat in Minnesota. Even so most of the liberals still loved our soldiers. The people that don’t are so far out in left field they have left the planet. Those people are still a minority. That 1% is also still a minority. Most of the people in this country love our military. It’s less than it was 40 years ago yes. Because of nut cases like Michael Moore. Never has it been “cool” to love the military and it certainly isn’t now. Not sure where you developed these ideas, because way off base.
I’m not saying everyone loves the military. Most don’t even think of the military at all. When they do they are of the mistaken impression people join because they have to. A lot like you. I served. I certainly didn’t have to. Also scored quite well on testing. Well anything that type A is good at. Don’t give me a scan tron and not expect the ENTIRE circle to be filled. I had plenty of other opportunities. Most people actually do. Calling it a fad to act like you love the military. You have some strange ideas. No one that I know thinks oh hey I actually hate the military, but let me pretend to love it. One that would take far to much energy for most people to bother with. Two people that don’t like the military are extremely vocal.
Little known fact Japan and Germany actually attacked main land USA during WWII. If we didn’t have distance, our military, and armed citizens we would have been attacked a lot more Peter Karper. You need to read some military history.
Understand that I don’t hate the military, but I do believe they should operate as the constitution dictates – a militia of the people during peace time, a navy, and a standing army during war to be kept up for a maximum of two years (article two of the constitution). The same military that protects us today can easily turn on citizens on command at any moment on the Commander in Chief’s whim.
Omg Peter Karper did you have no schooling? Are you a troll because you seem to be one. There have been plenty of attacks on US soil. The latest one I would probably call the Boston bombing maybe. Only maybe because they might have done it on their own. 9/11 of course you may say it’s a conspiracy. Lots of loons are. Pearl Harbor and the mainland attacks by Germany and Japan. There was a least 5 attacks during WWII on mainland USA.
Dan Heino I know pigs that look and act far better than Michael Moore.
Rusty Gayler Let’s see through history shall we? England and Canada–perhaps you’ve heard of the war of 1812? Spain–A thing called the Spanish-American War. Mexico, have you never heard of the Mexican-American War? Spoiler alert, we won! Libya–Why do you think the Marine song includes “to the shores of tripoli”, just because it sounded good?Libya is also the reason the U.S, Navy was created. Japan, and Germany. You know during that little disagreement called World War II. Besides the obvious Pearl Harbor, but did you know the Japanese torpedoed the California Coast? Have you ever heard of Amagansett, New York, and Ponte Verdra Beach, Florida. That’s right. There were at least two mini-landings in America, engineered by Germans. The purpose wasn’t vacations. It was sabotage. Perhaps studying history would help, so you don’t continue making a fool of yourself.
I too come from a military family, both my grandfathers all my uncles my dad , myself, my cousins, and my sons have all served. We will defend our country and the rights of people around the world to live free of tyranny. Patriotism is the belief in a way of life and the willingness to defend it. If you think it’s a tool, maybe you should move down to that island paradise of utopia called Cuba. They speak your language down there.

You know during that little disagreement called World War II. Besides the obvious Pearl Harbor, did you know the Japanese torpedoed the California Coast at least twice? Have you ever heard of Amagansett, New York, and Ponte Verdra Beach, Florida? That’s right. There were at least two mini-landings in America, engineered by Germans. Trust me, the purpose wasn’t vacations. It was sabotage. This isn’t even taking into consideration the many attacks in recent years orchestrated by terrorists, who may or not be sent by foreign lands but are definitely, at least partially financed and protected by them. Perhaps studying history would help, so you don’t continue making a fool of yourself.
Move your fat$#%&!@*to Mexico or Syria
