More than 40,000 illegal alien criminals from 79 different countries are housed in federal prisons – costing taxpayers millions every year.
The International Prison Transfer program should help to alleviate the problem as it permits willing criminals to transfer back to their country’s prison system. That could be at least a partial solution, but the problem is that many countries simply refused to accept the transfers – and there are no enforcement measures within the treaty.

The topic of illegal immigration in America has been a political hot button for decades. What is never discussed is what is the root cause of illegal Immigration? Why are millions of Mexican citizens risking their lives to illegally cross the boarder? We certainly don’t have this problem on our Northern boarder.
For as long as this country has been deluged with illegal immigrants and the heated debates in D.C. for and against illegal immigrants, one thing is never discussed, the root cause. Our supposed ally the Mexican government is at the root cause of illegal immigration.. Instead of working with the Mexican government to improve economic conditions in their country, which drive their citizens away, we except responsibility for their failure by circumventing our laws to illegally accommodate those who flee. Why is Mexico’s problem now an American problem?
