Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto recently called the United States “The Other Mexico.” The US currently has 11 million Mexican immigrants.
He called on other states to “evolve” like California so the US can become more like his country.

I am confused, The Mexicans have A country They want to leave. So they come to the U.S A. Then they want to change it to their Mexican customs, So it will be like the Country they just left. Can anyone explain this so I can understand their thinking.
