Although they were soundly trounced during the election, Donald Trump’s enemies have wasted no time making outrageous demands of the newly-installed president.
When Trump initially announced his candidacy, people laughed at the idea that the real estate tycoon and reality TV show host could possibly have a chance at the White House. When it became clear that he was not only serious but actually had a chance of winning, his opponents went into overdrive and attempted to delegitimize every single thing he said or did. This was especially true in the matter of immigration, in which Trump proposed a crackdown on illegal aliens even as critics insisted against all evidence that he wanted to deport all Mexicans from the US.
It was a narrative that spread so far and wide that even prominent politicians from our southern neighbor have bought it hook and line sinker.

Respect is a two way street and Mexico doesn’t respect us
I’d say Mexico should respect the US. And keep THEIR drug lords and cartel members down there. They should also keep their murderers down there. It would be too bad if tourism dried up and the cruises stopped going into their coastal cities. That’s what will happen if they don’t try to help us secure our borders.
Can’t demand respect, have to earn it. Mexican bozo should know that.
Mexico believes in walls. Look at their southern border. Their illegal immigrants are dealt with by force as well.
I know there are but I have been around both legals and illegals all my life. I have family that are chicanos . But if Mexico was a better place to live the people would stay there instead of them crossing and dieing trying to get here. I also know what i see around my area and we cannot ( the Amercan people) afford to continue taking in and supporting more people at 72 years old i still work to servive. So many getting help coming here no work then wefare and never get a job its to easy to fall into this patern. So i was just stating a fact if Mexico was a better place to live there wouldnt be people crossing into this country they would want to stay close to their families. They need to get rid of the cartels and crooked police clean up thr country instead of argueing with their neighbor and wanting their people to go to other countries

Why can’t you people understand that not illegal immigrants are Mexican. The wall us not going to stop illegal immigrants from coming into USA and I emphasize USA because the United States is not the country in America. I wish Trump would stop saying “make America great again “. Does he mean make America great like North America (USA, Canada and Mexico)Central America (Panama, Guatemala , el Salvador, etc.) South America (Brazil, Colombia, Perú, Argentina, Chile, etc.) So America does not belong
