An Oregon man, Gary Harrington, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail for of collecting rainwater – he surrendered Wednesday morning to begin serving his sentence.
This is how far gone our country is to a totalitarian state: a man can’t dig a big hole on his property and let rain fill it without going to jail.
Gary Harrington, the Oregon man convicted of collecting rainwater and snow runoff on his rural property surrendered Wednesday morning to begin serving his 30-day, jail sentence in Medford, Ore.
“I’m sacrificing my liberty so we can stand up as a country and stand for our liberty,” Harrington told a small crowd of people gathered outside of the Jackson County (Ore.) Jail.
Several people held signs that showed support for Harrington as he was taken inside the jail.
Harrington was found guilty two weeks ago of breaking a 1925 law for having, what state water managers called “three illegal reservoirs” on his property. He was convicted of nine misdemeanors, sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined over $1500 for collecting rainwater and snow runoff on his property.
The Oregon Water Resources Department, claims that Harrington has been violating the state’s water use law by diverting water from streams running into the Big Butte River.
But Harrington says he is not diverting the state’s water — merely collecting rainwater and snow melt that falls or flows on his own property.

Our very wise founding fathers designed the power and control to be with We The People. They never envisioned it done through nine Non-Elected Jurists. The Tenth Amendment gives the control to overturn UNJUST Laws to We The People through their state legislatures and NOT to a Judiciary!
Our Founding Fathers never intended the majority will of the people be reversed and even legislated against by a body of men and now men and women who by virtue of being appointed for life could rule supreme over the citizens, their elected legislators and their elected presidents. Beginning with Marbury vs Madison the US Supreme Court gave themselves this right while admitting they had no constitutional or legal authority to do so.
The proper method for the removal of unjust or overbearing laws (too include a tyrant president acting as GOD – King) against the liberty of the people is constitutionally given to the sovereign states by invoking the 10th amendment right of nullification. The federal government in each branch of the so called three co-equal branches in which lawyers both elected and appointed have perverted the clearly defined enumerated powers and constraints and have tipped the scales in favor of the judiciary over the legislative branch and the executive branch, thus stripping the both the rights and the power of the people.
The American people by default of abdicating their responsibility of being self educated, self informed and wholly engaged in the business of the people have allowed a gross perversion power at the expense of the people. The time has come for the people to actively begin to seek remedy from the body that is more responsive to the people, that is your own sovereign state legislatures and your governors whose duty is to check the unauthorized growth of the federal government beyond their constitutionally enumerated authority. Asking one arm of the federal government to check the other when they are working in concert with each other has become as futile as looking for hair on the palms of your hands.
Having said that, no level of government will be responsive servants of the people absent the citizens being continuously engaged in the business of the people. We the people WHOM ARE the true and constitutional government of these United States need to take full ownership of our duty of citizenship in order to protect and preserve our GOD Given Right – Freedom, Right to Life, Liberty and Our Pursuit of Happiness.
Our Christian nation was founded under the principles God, the God of the Bible. God granted us free will to live our lives within the moral teachings as defined in the Bible. Our nation was not founded under any other religion or theology in the world. In fact if you research English Common Law its roots are also in the Bible. As a society we must first ourselves return to living with a moral honesty (Ten Commandments) and with integrity. Then we must only elect those to serve US with the same values and commitment. This means that we can no longer allow a political party or a biased media to pre- select our servants to elected office. We must find our own from among our peers. We must vet them and make sure they are educated and informed on their duty to serve our needs and the restrictions that our constitution puts on them in preservation of OUR Liberty. There is no magic wand, there is no quick and effortless fix. It requires that each American begin from this day forth to first exercise their own duty of citizenship in order to preserve the liberty and freedom that was first endowed by Our Creator and then affirmed by Our Founding Fathers in Our Declaration of Independence, Our Constitution and Our Bill of Rights.
Therefore > We The People must decide if The United States of America is indeed a nation of Laws, and if the US Constitution is indeed the Law of the Land. If so, there can be no argument that a ‘constitutionally unqualified’ Obama has indeed occupied the Office of The President of the United States since January 2009! The question NOW must be, what are We The People going to do about it?
The Constitution provides that a tyrannical (Obama) president can be stopped ONLY THROUGH IMPEACHMENT AND REMOVAL BY CONGRESS:

The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. (Art. 2, Sec. 4)
The House of Representatives…shall have the sole power of impeachment. [And] The Senate shall have the sole power to try all impeachments. (Art. 1, Sec. 2 and Sec. 3)
We The People thus have only one viable option, short of insurrection or sedition, for ending Obama’s reign of tyranny because the democrats senate will not: It’s REMOVE the man (and his inner circle) — and through our elected representatives in the House and Senate; The Sergeant at Arms is authorized to arrest and detain any person violating Senate rules, including the President of the United States.
