Dems love to scream about the doomsday and end of the world scenarios they associate with changes to welfare. They label Republicans as heartless for daring to suggest working is a viable source of income instead of welfare.
Maine must be making liberal’s come unhinged as the welfare reform, put in place by Republican Gov. Paul LePage has been an enormous success, with welfare numbers dropping by 56, 506 people and unemployment also benefiting as well.
How one asks? What did they do? Read on page 2.

It decreased as all conservatives know.
working fa help wit money aint wrong
about damn time !!!
Good for Maine. It’s time these people who can work and don’t get stopped from being a burden. If you can work you must work. Simple. No one gets a free ride on the back of someone else. Self esteem is a great thing which you get without charge when you actually work for a living and not live on hand-outs.
Let me guess, welfare decreases?
Recently I’ve fielded a lot of questions on why I support Trump. I’ve sent this letter to the RNC, please read the following and share. It’s okay if you don’t like him I’m just telling you the reason why I do

Dear Lisa Murkowski, Dan Sullivan and Donald Young
From the time I was able to vote I voted Republican. I have a great deal of respect for our founding fathers
I received your questionnaire and request for money and strongly agree with every question, as I have since Obama was elected. Unfortunately, the one question that was missing is “What have the Republicans done for the American people?” We gave you a majority in the House and Senate, yet you never listened to us. Now you want my money.
You should be more concerned about my vote, not my money. You are the establishment, which means all you want is to save your jobs and line your pockets… Well guess what? “It’s not going to happen” You p**s your pants when I tell you I’m giving my support to TRUMP and he hasn’t asked for a dime.
You might think I’m a fool because you feel Trump is on a self-destruction course, but you need to look beyond Washington and listen to the masses. Nobody has achieved what he has, especially in the liberal state of New York.
You clearly don’t understand why the Trump movement is so strong, so I’d like to share with you an analogy to help explain the Trump phenomenon. By the way, it’s not just the Republicans who feel ignored and disrespected, there are plenty of Democrats and Independents who also feel let down by the Washington elite. You seem to have forgotten about “We The People” and who hired you to represent us.
So here it is, the best analogy I could come up with. Here is the reason so many Americans have boarded the Trump Train, and why you’re pleased to come back to the party who deserted us, is falling on deaf ears:
You’ve found out you’ve been diagnosed with terminal cancer. You want to be cured immediately…You call four different Oncologists, but nobody wants to operate on your terminal cancer. There is this one doctor however, who guarantees you he will get rid of the cancer, so you put your life in his hands. You don’t care if the doctor smells, you don’t care if the docter swears, you don’t care how many times he’s been married, you don’t care if he was friends with liberals, you don’t care if he has a caffeine shake…you simply want the cancer gone! You want to be cured! He’s the man. He’s the best doctor. Period. Here’s why we want Trump: Yes, he’s a bit of an$#%&!@* yes he’s an egomaniac, but I don’t care. The country is a mess because politicians have become too self-serving. The Republican Party is two-faced & gutless. Illegal aliens have been allowed to invade our nation. I want it all fixed! I don’t care that Trump is crude, I don’t care that he insults people, I don’t care that he had been friendly with Hillary, I don’t care that he has changed positions, I don’t care that he’s been married three times, I don’t care that he fights with Megan Kelly and the GOP, I don’t care that he doesn’t know the name of some underling.
This country is weak, bankrupt, our enemies are making fun of us, we are being invaded by illegal aliens and bringing tens of thousands of Muslim refugees to America, while leaving Christians behind to be decapitated. We are becoming a nation of victims where every Tom,$#%&!@*and Harry is part of a special group with special rights, to the point where I don’t even recognize the country I was born and raised in; “AND I JUST WANT IT FIXED” and Trump is the only guy who seems to understand what the Americans want.
I’m sick of politicians. I’m sick of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. I just want this thing fixed. Trump may not be a saint, but he isn’t beholden to lobbyist money and he doesn’t have political correctness restraining him. All we know is that he has been very successful, he’s an excellent negotiator, he has built a lot of things, and he’s also not a politician. He’s definitely not a cowardly politician. When he says he’ll fix it, we believe him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or looked at and called a liar.
Oh yeah…I forgot…I don’t care if the guy has bad hair either,I do too. I just want the cancer gone. Americans have to act NOW!
Good job Maine. Now we need the rest of the state’s to do the same
Government needs to get out of the poverty business. people on ASSISTANCE should not be making more that people who work.!
