It so often seems that liberals in America play with a deck of cards in which every card is the race card. Although the left also enjoys playing the gender card, the religion card, or the [insert minority group here] card, the race card is by far their favorite.
The vast majority of the country hoped and believed that when Barack Obama was elected president in 2008 that the far left would finally be forced to give up on their race baiting ways. Instead, the left doubled down on their race card strategy. Unlike with President Clinton, they now had an easy out every time someone disagreed with the president.
Not satisfied to attack the living for their perceived racism, liberals have now attempted to rewrite history and portray the very founding of the United States as racially bigoted. Rosemay Hood I was around the same time as you and never thought there was any segregation. Maybe because of Jesus saying, “..there is no longer male or female, Jew or gentile as you are all one.”
The reality then was quite different than what is revered today. Once again, I agree that the interpretation today is all men regardless of race. What concerns me is the treatment of women. For me it is not about race or segregation as the piece talking about racism. My post was not about racism although my understanding of history and actions is certainly not one of equality. My concern today is that the so called womens move,
My concern today is the so called womens movement, Sharia Law and the raping of women. Go ahead and revere the document if you wish but as a women the document perhaps needs an update or an add on to protect women.
