Months after the arrest of Dylann Roof for the shooting in Charleston, the debate over the meaning of the Confederate flag continues to rage. During a public radio program hosted by liberal atheist, Kurt Anderson, it was revealed that Studio 360 has commissioned a firm in Texas to design something new to replace the Confederate flag.
This is part of what drove the debate when activists and liberals were calling for the Confederate flag’s removal. The ignorance of its meaning is astounding. If people understood it, then they would know that it can’t be replaced by something more “inclusive”.

Confederacy began AFTER secession when the US govt ordered heavy taxes on exports from the South in an attempt to preserve the union. That is when the other states saw a threat to what they believed was their Constitutional rights. Slavery was included in the Constitution but outlawed importing new slaves beyond a certain date. The South rose up because their economy depended on exports harvested and prepared by slaves BUT ALSO other states joined because of the violation of their perceived rights as Sovereign states. BOTH flags represent a nation created by pirates， thieves， and slaves. It is the truth. So suck it up Walter Gibson. Let Jimmy crack you some corn， because it looks like John Ivy does not care.

The Confederacy was begun and led by wealthy elitist slave-owners who wanted to protect slavery and who despised poor white men every bit as much as they despised their black slaves. If you celebrate its history you are a worthless tool.
