Upon retiring in 2015, he’s undergone a metamorphosis into someone almost unrecognizable from the more comedic guy people watched on the “Late Show with David Letterman”.
He’s grown a full beard, which coupled with his balding head, makes him look like a guy wanting to moonlight as a department store Santa Claus.
But beneath that kindly-looking exterior lurks a clearly bitter and troubled man, as evidenced by recent nasty remarks about President Donald Trump.

I stopped watching & listening to Letterman years ago when all he would do for the duration of his show was bash Pres Bush!! I got so sick of listening to his rediric that I just said enough’s enough & turned him off!! When Cobert took over, I knew he would do the same, not thinking worse, so never watch him!! To me, these type people that call themselves comedians, are not funny but mean & crude!! Karma usually get these type people in the end. but you never know when!! Letterman had a heart attack after berating Bush, so interested to see what’s in store for Cobert@!
