Julia Lease from Whitehall, OH has been ordered by her leasing company to take her new American flag off her porch because they state it is “making this complex look bad. It’s detracting from the beauty of everything else.”
“I’ve lived here 36 years and I’ve flown a flag every day since and now all of a sudden they want this flag taken down because they say it detracts from the looks of the apartment complex. Well I can’t see how an American flag can detract from anything. After all, this is our country,” states Lease.

Every one should put up the American flag at home and in the complex

Does the lease say she can’t have a flag at all or that the American flag can’t be flown? If it says neither, she can put up the flag until the next lease renewal whereby the un-American company can put it in the lease.
It’s absolutely shameful that we cannot fly our American flags where we want to. The government has really gotten out of control on this.
I wonder if there is a clause in her lease that forbids the flag display. If not, well I do not think that the leasing company has a legal way to do this. Then again…who owns the leasing co. and who do they want to move into the complex… Never can tell these days who is really in charge and what they are doing to us.
