Julia Lease from Whitehall, OH has been ordered by her leasing company to take her new American flag off her porch because they state it is “making this complex look bad. It’s detracting from the beauty of everything else.”
“I’ve lived here 36 years and I’ve flown a flag every day since and now all of a sudden they want this flag taken down because they say it detracts from the looks of the apartment complex. Well I can’t see how an American flag can detract from anything. After all, this is our country,” states Lease.

How can the flag of our country make a home complex “look bad?” I’ll bet that they WOULD allow an Islamic flag. This country is so PC, that individual thought and action are no longer tolerable, nor can most people summon and use their rights to oppose such “mind control.” GOD help us, I don’t think that we can summon up much courage, anymore, to oppose our wills being taken from us. I was raised on the adage, that “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can NEVER hurt me.” When did our great nation decide that a hurt “feeling” is more life-ruining than the loss of our rights and even death? This PC is nothing but mass hypnosis and mind control to make people behave in certain ways,,,and none other is allowed. So what id they call you a racist? If you are, own it. If you aren’t, then own that too. If you don’t like Islam, so have a huge number of people for centuries…with good reason. Your PC name-caller is trashing your own beliefs, so f..k him/her and move on with your life. Being called something you are not is not a life-killer. It is a pinprick that anybody who respects themselves and their decent beliefs can endure…even Muslims can do it. So, make them! Our job is not to unruffle their feathers. Ours is to strengthen them as Americans in order to live in a pluralistic society made up of more different peoples than just Muslims and the rest who must walk on red-hot nails to keep from offending therm when their behavior DESERVES it. Otherwise, leave them alone.
