Since the men and women who serve as judges attended law school, the question must be asked what these law schools are teaching. Or perhaps a better question would be, “with what are these law schools indoctrinating their students?” Far too often we learn of judicial decisions that make no sense, and we’re not talking only of the bizarre decisions federal judges have made regarding President Trump’s travel ban.
The courts have power because the people respect them and the executive branches enforce their decisions. Take these away, and the courts just turn into editorial departments. Sometimes it seems like that is the direction they wish to take.
More on page two.
Republican state. Has been for many years.
Our constitution was written to be understandable by the average person, when judges make rulings like this they are corrupt. Pure and simple.
You-yes, you force adherence to rights when you refuse to convict when you discharge your duty as a juror. Even more if you are a grand juror and refuse to indict. Keep your knowledge of your powers under your hat. They judicial system is hostile to our rights and moreso towards our powers.
Time to refresh the tree of liberty.
One fact is abundantly clear: Since the case made it to court, the officer was ABSOLUTELY CORRECT in his honest belief that the occupants of the car were transporting drugs. If there had been no drugs, the people would have proceeded on their journey without charges, and there would be no court case to appeal based on the search.
I always hear about “probable cause”. Excuse me, but the very next words are “SUPPORTED BY OATH OR AFFIRMATION.” This means that someone has to visibly witness a crime being committed, and if no crime is found to have been committed, then the person who swore they saw criminal activity can be punished under the law for defamation of character or slander/libel. I bet if the courts started to enforce THAT, we would have a lot less police officers breaking their oath to the Constitution.
I avoid Kansas like they have the plague.
If this is a true action by the Kansas courts and not simply more false c**p posted by some agitator, This would be very concerning for anyone living in or traveling through Kansas. I would hope that this will be appealed to the US Supreme Court. Assuming it is real!
Don’t care if a court decided that$#%&!@*or not , try that here and there will be a lot less court buildings !
What was the outcome of the illegal search? Did they find anything?
