Since the men and women who serve as judges attended law school, the question must be asked what these law schools are teaching. Or perhaps a better question would be, “with what are these law schools indoctrinating their students?” Far too often we learn of judicial decisions that make no sense, and we’re not talking only of the bizarre decisions federal judges have made regarding President Trump’s travel ban.
The courts have power because the people respect them and the executive branches enforce their decisions. Take these away, and the courts just turn into editorial departments. Sometimes it seems like that is the direction they wish to take.
More on page two.
we have a country where citizens can go to jail over stuff like feeding the homeless, hanging cloth outside and catching rain water but illegals raping and murdering are not only allowed to run free but are protected by those in the government
Electing judges is not a guarantee of sensible judges. Roy Moore was elected in Alabama – nuf said.
Be glad I am not your boss.
Meaning?
Nope, too thin.
You get taken advantage of and lose rights when you lie down and surrender them. I stand up against tyranny. They want to scan my DL to make sure I’m not a sex offender but this rule came right after one of the school shootings. I’M NOT STUPID. They want to scan to see if you are wanted. The school is not the police and it is a blatant 4th amendment violation. Plus my bosses have my back when we are denied entry. If you would fight me on this issue then you would not be a good boss for me. I know it’s all about protecting the children. B******t. A couple days ago in CA a guy checked in the office and shot his wife. Shall I continue?
Its Kansas who cares, they are meaningless….
THIS IS AN ASSAULT ON THE CONSTITUTION AND OUR RIGHTS. WE NEED TO START TAKING THESE JUDGES TO COURT TO PROVE THEY ARE QUALIFIED TO SERVE. IT IS CALLED QUO WARRANTO, GO TO Nationallibertyalliance.org to learn how.
With your logic the police should also be able to search your house when ever they want…
Nah, that’s completely different. We’re only discussing the case in question, that’s a whole different topic. My logic would be different there – ya can’t crystallize somebody’s logic and profess that they extend a specific area to all areas, just bc you don’t like how they handled the one area.
But yes THAT would be definitely violation of the 4th, just random home invasions. I mean sure if you’re visibly beating someone or someone is horribly assaulting you visibly thru a window, yea somebody should maybe see what’s goin on before someone gets killed. If there’s evidence of a break-in, smashed glass with no car around, and furtive movements with flashlights then yea, somebody should check that out.
Other than that, I don’t know enough to speak on it. Car windows tho fall under reasonable expectation of privacy – so visible. The entire innards of the car are pretty much visible to anyone walking around it. (Houses obv not)
And so many millions of $$ of contraband are extradited via car, so ppl hafta be careful. But a person’s effects, papers, homes …Diff story. So I hear ya.
Although it seems apples to apples, it’s not completely.
