i dont think churches should lose their tax exempt status over THAT. And i think most gay people will seek a union via a government venue, and certainly, should they chose to marry under god, chose a church that performs such marriages. What churches SHOULD lose their tax exempt status is over political propaganda. That has no place in the church. If you want to be political, then lose your tax exempt status, like the rest of us.
Fact is, goverment so greedie, here are all these churches that dont have to pay taxes, government thinks, hay, we are lossing money here!! Lets come up with a reason or way to tax them! Then, as $$$ roll in checks our handed out to house and senate!
STAND FIRM CHRISTIAN CHURCHES!!!! The Church is not the building, it is the PEOPLE!! If we have to return to HOME CHURCHES OR UNDERGROUND CHURCHES SO BE IT!! Our Lord never said being a Christian would be easy, but HE did say HE would be with us THROUGH THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS!! STAY STRONG, STAY CONNECTED, EXCITING DAYS AHEAD!!
I sought and found the truth. God did not create man. But was in fact himself created by man. Be free and cast off the chains of religion. For only then will you truly live.
Noooo
I do believe, they have idiots in the Surpreme Court. Hoe sad.
Well said Amy!
Helping people the old fashioned way is never taxed. My giving will always be tax exempt.
So much for separation of church and state.
