Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

This is so disconcerting. The statues are part of history. We can;t erase history no matter what you think. How ridiculous that the losing party, won! It is shameful.
SO SAD WHEN PEOPLE START ACTING LIKE THIS. PART OF HISTORY BEING DESTROYED CAUSE SOMEONE FEELS THAT IT IS RACIST , READ HISTORY , EDUCATE YOURSELF. SADDD
This is complete racial stupidity !!!!!!!!

Destroying history is dispicable. Woodrow Wlison was president from 1913-1921. What’s racist about him????
