Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

What was racist. Leave historical figures alone! We seem to be allowing a minority view have rule over everything.
No more messing with America’s history. What is wrong with the American people?????
Demorats trying to erase their history!! Very sad!
Shame on them!
Why do a few get to destroy the symbols of our history when the rest of us has no say in the matter?
LOVE IT!!!!
Just like the Nazis and commies
This$#%&!@*has to stop !
No this shouldnt be allowed. All of History whether good or bad, is still history! The past has shaped our future and this will be the future for our grandchildren. Almost treasonus!
Bad precedents; at some point only Karl Marx and Obozo will be standing…well, maybe MLK!
