Savage, primitive, uncivilized, barbarian are all synonymous with ISIS and the newest demonstration of their retrogressive ways recently occurred in the Syrian city of Palmyra. Jihadists blew up the ancient Temple of Baal Shamin, because of what they perceive as idols in “caliphate”territory.

Haha. F**e Christians are upset that ISIS destroyed a temple of Baal!
Radical Islam is the plague of the Earth. Wake up Western Civilization! Wake up!
EVIL ALL THE WAY!
Same idea as banning the confederate flag. Make our history go away and we can’t learn anything from it.
It is actually a direct commandment from God to destroy ALL false temples and places of worship, but the commandment was given to the Israelites specifically, not ISIS or Christians.
“These are the statutes and the judgments which you shall carefully observe in the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess as long as you live on the earth. You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations whom you shall dispossess serve their gods, on the high mountains and on the hills and under every green tree. You shall tear down their altars and smash their sacred pillars and burn their Asherim with fire, and you shall cut down the engraved images of their gods and obliterate their name from that place. You shall not act like this toward the Lord your God. But you shall seek the Lord at the place which the Lord your God will choose from all your tribes, to establish His name there for His dwelling, and there you shall come” (Deuteronomy 12:1-5).
Personally as a Christian I do not care if ISIS tears down ancient places of pagan worship, so I am with Richard Olson on this one. They are still ignorant because the commandment was not given to them. Just because something is old does not mean it should be preserved. Not that it matters much anyways, because the Lord will soon destroy the whole earth and no stone will be left standing; after the soon return of Jesus of course.
“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will p$#%&!@* away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10).
After Jesus comes back soon, there will be nothing left anyways, which is why God has to make the world new once again. After Jesus returns to rule physically on earth for 1000 years, if there were anything left (there will not be), then He would have it torn down anyways. 😉

Mark Kasikantiris, Your history is not accurate. How can Islam, Catholicism, and Christianity come from the same brotherhood when Islam and Christianity are literally the OPPOSITE viewpoints. Also, Christianity did not come from Catholicism, because Christianity started with Jesus, and therefore long predates Catholicism, which is not even Christianity because they do not follow Christ.
The Bible is the supernatural and literal perfect Word of God, with no contradictions, unchanged, 100% accurate, and scientific evidence strongly supports this more than any other viewpoint on this issue.
You may have read a lot of history, but you sure do not know much about the major religions you mentioned. Religion, more specifically Christianity, is my specialty.
Christianity has become your Achilles heel. Seeing all things through the eyes of “gods holy word, the bible, has blinded you to a belief. And beliefs are NOT reliable nor historic.
Just like liberals are trying to destroy our history.
