Recently Boise Idaho police officers made a no-knock raid on an apartment complex in order to bust criminals for illegal activities involving drugs.
The cops were there with a search warrant searching for someone with a history of violence and drug use – along with several of this man’s associates. The raid was done late at night: 2:30 A.M., with guns drawn and even a flash bang device used.
Unfortunately for the officers, and more so for the residents of the complex, these cops made a terrible mistake…
STORY CONTINUES ON PAGE TWO:
It’s like they think they should get a prize for doing the right thing. This is not restoring my faith in humanity
Accidents happen. At least nobody was hurt
2:30 am? Exodus 22:2..bang bang you dead,no guilt..
Welcome to the real world suckas!
This needs to be a national protocol to help reverse the perception of tyrannical thugs with badges, and something tax payers would rather see their money go.
John Limon, wrong….. that is EXACTLY why a warrant is REQUIRED.
Lol, all these comments, and so very few have any practical knowledge about it at all. Firstly, no knock warrants are extremely rare, and only issued in cases where the suspect is armed and very dangerous.. second, they are not illegal in any way, that’s where “no knock WARRANT” comes from. They have a lawful presence. As long as officers conduct Due Diligence, they are covered. Mistakes do happen, but they are VERY rare. Officers have been killed conducting no knock warrant entries. Non wanted residents were cleared from any wrong doing in those (also rare) instances. If the suspect is the one that killed a police officer, they are charged… I do not understand why people think cops enjoy putting themselves in that great amount of danger. They dont. They want to be safe, they want their communities to be safe. Granted, in every group you will have bad apples. But the majority simply want to do their job, and go home at the end of their shift. For those talking about the “militarization” of the police. There are many instances where police are out gunned by criminals, which is why they strive for better gear, and better training. Get a grip people.
Hope they like buckshot
Oh really ?? In the 1980s, there were about 3,000 SWAT raids per year. Now, there are at least 40,000 SWAT raids in the United States every year. Of these, as many as 80 percent are no-knock raids.
Haha not even close
