Recently Boise Idaho police officers made a no-knock raid on an apartment complex in order to bust criminals for illegal activities involving drugs.
The cops were there with a search warrant searching for someone with a history of violence and drug use – along with several of this man’s associates. The raid was done late at night: 2:30 A.M., with guns drawn and even a flash bang device used.
Unfortunately for the officers, and more so for the residents of the complex, these cops made a terrible mistake…
STORY CONTINUES ON PAGE TWO:
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Guess I’ll just get shot, cause I’m gonna shoot first if someone kicks in my door!
Greg Watts had it right in Indiana you cam legally shoot an officer for illegally entering your home and as far as I know this is the only state that allows it so suck on that everybody that thinks we only have corn.
just remember with a no knock warrant he would be legally entering your house
So, at what point do we admit that all the SWAT no-knock raids in the world will not stop the drug industry? Seems to me a lot of people are getting killed in this feel good campaign and that’s about all that’s coming out of it.
To justify the need for a SWAT team.
How can I be proud of a group of men who dress up in military gear and come through someone’s front door unannounced? Don’t get me wrong. I understand these men are just “doing their jobs”, so it’s not personal. Because of the drug war experiment law enforcement officers are placed in an awkward situation where they have to lie in many cases to get the required response. I cannot and will not ever be proud of the USA’s war on it’s own people.
They figured out they were losing support for the drug war so they started a war on terrorism. Both of which makes a bad joke out of the Fourth Amendment.
Did your 33 years “in the business” make any difference or just provide you with a nice paycheck?
That could of got some killed I would waking up to someone in my house I would of been shooting
Bruce, I would truly like to believe that I made a difference, received one life saving award, was a SWAT team leader for 5 years, bomb squad, pilot for search and rescue, senior firearms instructor since 1970. Yes, I do think I made a difference, but I’ll be judged on that at a much higher level!
