As progressives, rallied by the Obama administration, actively work to curb Americans’ gun rights, one state has raised it’s hand and said “Stop!”
Just last Friday, Idaho announced that it would neither enforce nor abide by federal gun laws. The move was made possible by a measure introduced in the state’s House and Senate and passed unanimously by both chambers.
The law could very well be one of the most serious challenges to the federal government’s anti-gun agenda. Per the wording of the bill, Idaho law enforcement officers would face up to $1,000 in fines as well as misdemeanor charges if they enforce federal gun laws. These punitive measures will likely go a long way in discouraging Idaho LEO’s from collaborating with feds trying to enforce gun laws in the state.
Naturally, the federal government, to say nothing of this virulently anti-gun administration, is not going to be happy about a state rejecting it’s statutes regarding gun ownership and usage. Indeed, after a similar law was passed in Kansas, former Attorney General Eric Holder, a true maven of the gun control lobby, wrote a letter to Governor Brownback threatening legal action against the state over it.
Let’s hope that Idaho is able stay strong if Obama and his goons try to stop them.

HE HAS NO RIGHT TO CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION …..
Idaho is the first? Don’t make me laugh, Kansas passed pretty much the same bill a few years ago. Eric Holder was AG and threatened to cut off all federal funding to our state if Gov. Brownback signed it. Ours stated that local sheriffs had the power to arrest any Federal Agents attempting to enforce gun control laws in Kansas that are contrary to Kansas Statutes and any local law enforcement assisting them as well.
good screw obonehead !
The federal govt employees need to be arrested and charged with failure to follow the constitution.. Hopefully that is treason so we can justify that these people will be terminated so we can once and for all get rid of this disease that it is trying to spread with its outreach of its authority.
You people need to get a life, Idaho Should be more worried about their Potato Crop. You Can’t Eat a Gun.
Yeah Problem is we will be in court just like when states bucked the 55mph speed limits. The next step was cutting off all Federal funding and the list goes on with these kind of things. What Idaho Should be Passing is the request for an Article V Convention of the States to truly limit the powers Claimed by the Federal government that has produced the CFR’s that are a never ending addition of regulations never passed by Congress but written By the Administrations and Enforced by the Administration there by enforced by the Courts as Color of law, http://www.conventionofstates.com/
They wrote the exact constitution for a reason ..so ya cant make your own rules as ya go !! And they were much smarter !
Well regulated circa 1700 meant “well supplied” and or “in good working order.” Not in the context we use the term today.
Now the other 49 need to follow suit!!!
Hoping for many more.
