Donald Trump may have come away from Super Tuesday the clear GOP frontrunner — if there was ever any doubt — but that hasn’t stopped the party bosses from attempting to block Trump from the nomination nonetheless.
Party rules dictate that a presidential candidate must receive a majority of delegates in order to secure the nomination at the convention, but Trump has yet to cross that threshold. Usually, this isn’t much of an issue. After candidates concede the race, their delegates have usually moved behind to presumptive nominee.
Considering the tenuous relationship Trump has managed with the GOP establishment, its likely that they’re unwilling to let Trump acquire other candidates’ delegates in such an easy fashion. Rather, many believe that there is an underground movement to take those delegates to establishment favorite Marco Rubio, or even Mitt Romney.
While technically within the rules of the race, such a move would no doubt be unprecedented, and signals to some, including former candidate Mike Huckabee, a party overthrowing the will of the voters.
See what Huckabee has to say of the potential takeover by the Republican Party on the next page:
We want Trump.
Right 2
More like an overhaul of government. Way past due
I am sure glad someone understands maybe he will explain it to the party !!
One Vote My Vote.America we need strong Business man like Trump. Not someone from the Republican establishment. Vote for Trump only one you can trust. Trump 2016 they can’t buy him.
We are witnessing one of those extremely rare, monumentally critical moments in history wherein a nation is fundamentally defined: America is still either of a government “for”, “by” and “of” “The People”, as we were founded to be, or it is one for by and of a dictatorial elite.
And if we discover that the latter is in deed the case, we are catastrophically remiss not to fearlessly exercise every means legally afforded to us by the Constitution to correct it.
The People’s choice in Donald Trump is the embodiment of their Peaceful, Constitutionally provided mechanisms for unseating tyrannical or grossly dissatisfactory government: the very same type of mal-government we’ve suffered under for decades who are desperate to remain.
There is also a provision in the Constitution for legal remedy when that Peaceful mechanism is maliciously undermined; The 1st and 2nd Amendments. Be hopeful that remedy through the former is successful.
The Patriots of this country have endured long enough, they are patient and forgiving to a fault but be on notice, those qualities are worn nearly out.
Government needs to be overthrown, or at least reordered, make it about what’s best for America, not on how much money you can get, hardships people have to endure
No he wont
The Gov has already been taken over by the M . Brotherhood and Soros
